A BIFRÖST Initiative

What, Who, Why, How?

We are cycling 1,332 kilometers across Iceland's legendary Ring Road to raise €240,000 for UWC scholarships. This journey is more than an expedition; it's a global movement to unite people across divides through the transformative power of education.

The Cyclists

Alessandro Tazartes

A Corsican-Italian UWC Atlantic graduate dedicated to expanding global educational access. Alessandro cycles the Ring Road to give back to the movement that shaped him, raising scholarship funds for future UWC students worldwide.

Luis Sáenz Pombo

A Spanish UWC Atlantic alumnus and National Committee member with a passion for uniting cultures. Luis brings an insider perspective to the expedition, ensuring scholarship systems continue to open doors for talented students globally.
